Social Music Games to Create New Revenue Streams for Artists
MXP4 is launching Bopler Games - a standalone Facebook app that allows players to play games that revolve around licensed music. The company has built an “automated level design” feature that matches games to the structure and melody of songs. Gamers use FB credits to play with full versions of songs, which MXP4 is hoping will translate to new revenue streams for artists. Bopler will feature a suite of music-based games including the previously released Pump It (which hit over 1 million users in it’s first month). Via Inside Facebook and TechCrunch
