We turned on cull.tv in the office about a month back and the first video we saw introduced us to Azealia Banks (it was the 212 video, for some reason now offline). We fell in love, so we booked her for our CMJ afterparty at Westway last Fri night and she tore shit up. Her performance sparked online, and people have been freaking to us about her.

I’m writing this post because I love that it was a music startup that first showed Cantora about Azealia - weeks before her BNT. I smell more of this coming our way, where technologies (and recommendation tools) help us shape events and the bands we work with.
